Albino Rock Helipad & Walkway
Project Overview / Description

The Albino Rock AtoN lies within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park (GBRMP). It is located off the coast of Ingham, near Palm Island, North Queensland, and has an elevation of 26m and is only accessible by helicopter.
AMSA holds a lease/agreement and has contracted CivilPlus to install a new stainless steel /fibreglass helipad including perimeter safety catch nets and incorporate a new stainless steel/fiberglass/concrete walkway to the existing AtoN concrete blockhouse. |
Project Features:
- Engineering design and analysis
- Fabrication and installation of a new helipad
- Fabrication and installation of a new walkway
- Fabrication and installation of a new access to blockhouse roof
- Site survey using 3D scanning equipment
- Remote aerial works using helicopters to construct
- Remove all construction waste by helicopter and appropriate disposal of waste
- Completion reporting and documentation
