ANZAC Park Pipeline Installation

Project Description / Overview:

The project required the installation of approx 100mtrs of 700 series Humes jacking pipes under the heritage and sacred site of ANZAC Park the Strand. Upon commencement of the tunneling and jacking an unknown sea wall was contacted approx 10mtrs into the bore, which required review and approvals prior to commencing open excavations to complete the remainder of the installation.
A system of sheet piling and shore box installations where required to safely install the pipe within the sand geology during the open trench phases of the construction.
