Burketown Wharf 3 Lane Barge Ramp
Project Overview / Description
Burke Shire Council contracted CivilPlus to remove the existing boat ramp at Burketown Wharf. The project involved installing a new three-lane wide road ramp and hardstand.
Project Features:
- Installation, maintenance and removal of a temporary boat ramp
- Remove and dispose of the existing boat ramp.
- Excavation and disposal of existing batters and widen from one lane to three.
- Supply and Installation of crushed rock core.
- Supply and installation of grouted and ungrouted rock shoulders.
- Supply and installation of precast boat ramp planks (RG4000 & T4000).
- Supply and installation of insitu concrete ramp and hardstand area.
