CivilPlus has recently been engaged by Townsville City Council for the construction of the spillway slab for Paluma Dam Remedial Works. Construction of the spillway slab includes a scope of works such as; excavation of rock, installation of N16 double corrosion protection bars, backfilling voids with dental concrete to the spillway slab base level, construction of the spillway slab including spillway toe drain, placement of grouted rip-rap at toes of the spillway for erosion protection immediately downstream of the spillway slab.
