Giru Raw Water Pumps
Project Overview / Description
Townsville City Council have engaged the services of CivilPlus Constructions for the replacement of Giru Raw Water Pumps.
The scope of works includes the replacement of raw water pumps, discharge pipework, pump controls systems, maintenance davit & installation of new pump protection cage to the raw water inlet platform on the Giru Haughton River rail bridge.
Project Features:
- Helicopter works too remove existing pumps and to install the new maintenance davit
- Pontoon works at the river level for installation of pump protection cage
