Slade Point Boat Ramp - Seagull Street
Project Overview / Description
CivilPlus Constructions has been engaged by Mackay Regional Council to construct the Seagull Street Boat Ramp at Slade Point, North Mackay. The new boat ramp will reduce the congestion at other popular launching spots in the Mackay Region and deliver better access for the residents of Slade Point and nearby suburbs.
CivilPlus will be constructing the single lane boat ramp into McCreadys Creek while the Mackay City Council will construct 15 car-trailer parking bays and footpaths.
Project Features:
- Ramp core constructed from 75mm crushed rock
- Un-grouted rock shoulders
- Fully grouted rock shoulder and footings
- Installation of precast anchor beam and boat ramp planks
