Project Overview / Description

CivilPlus Constructions were engaged by the Townsville City Council to implement protective barriers at Victoria Park in South Townsville. In response to a significant influx of parkland damage caused by reckless vehicle activities, particularly hooning, the Council recognises the necessity for a permanent barrier installation to safeguard local parks and sports fields.

This project involved the replacement of existing timber bollards with boulders, and the removal and replacement of maintenance gates.
