Project Overview / Description

CivilPlus Constructions was engaged by Townsville City Council to implement protective barriers at Wulguru Park. In response to a significant influx of parkland damage caused by reckless vehicle activities, particularly hooning, the Council recognises the imperative for a permanent barrier installation to safeguard local parks and sports fields.

This project involves the replacement of existing bollards with boulders, and the installation of new maintenance gates.

Project Features:

    • Tree protection measures, including maintaining Tree Protection Zones and Structural Root Zones, preserving trees during site works.
    • Approximately 300 boulders placed for the prevention of reckless vehicle activities.
    • Installation of 3 x TCC Gates
