HMAS Townsville Civil & Concrete Works
Project Overview / Description
CivilPlus Constructions completed civil works for the Port of Townsville on behalf of the Maritime Museum of Townsville to establish a permanent dry dock for HMAS Townsville. The scope included cleaning and debris removal from the former Curtain Brothers slipway, construction of foundation blocks for the vessel, and installation of rock infill and gabion baskets within the slipway.
Project Features:
- Installation of over 120 cub.m of concrete to slipway and footings
- Installation of over 600 tonne of rock fill to slipway
