The Dugald River Mine stated production in May 2018.  The site is in the Knapdale Ranges approximately 85km north-east of Mt Isa and 65km north-west of Cloncurry in north-western Queensland.  The site is predominantly a fly in-fly out site.  The existing TSF Decant Access Road provides access to the TSF Dam and is located North West of the camp.  Significant rain events took place in 2018 and 2019 due to the yearly monsoonal rains which heavily scoured the existing TSF Access Road resulting in the unsealed road being deemed unsafe to drive on.
